Swine Influenza Response at Caffe Dell’ Orso

For the first time in the Japanese archipelago customers at a Kyoto cafe are being required to wear prophylactic headwear to combat the spread of ‘Tonfluenza’ swine flu.

Chef-Manager-Hygeinist Ms Sasha Ashburne said “in the interests of public well-being we are trying to cover the heads of our regular customers as much as possible. We ask that they voluntarily purchase the National-Yotsubishi Head Cover© before entering withing a 30 meter radius of our kitchen”.

So far, no new outbreaks of illness, other than mental, have been reported.
